It’s made from a sophisticated blend of different raw materials used for the production of glass surfaces, porcelain tiles and quartz. Dekton manufacturers use an exclusive and high tech process which reproduces, in accelerated form, the metamorphic changes undergone by natural stones from high temperatures and pressure over thousands of years. Thanks to this innovative process, the material is fully compacted and the resulting surface can be as thin as 8 mm. Dekton is a unique material that offers excellent technical features and a flawless finish.

Dekton is a versatile material that can be used in both indoor and outdoor designs, thanks to its UV endurance and its resistance to freeze-thaw cycles. It is particularly well adapted to contemporary environments and is widely used for surface coatings, countertops and flooring. Through the innovative process of sinterization and ultra- compaction, Dekton manufacturers are able to produce a material with minimal porosity. This ensures that the micro defects are only visible through the lens of an electronic microscope. Dekton surfaces are perfectly even and visually impeccable.
